This approach meet the client where they are. The client is the expert on their own situation and leads the session based on where they believe the problems needing to be addressed are. In this process the client finds their own solutions while the therapist act as a nonjudgmental compassionate facilitator. The therapist assists the client in processing through their experience with out interfering with the client’s discovery.

This approach is helpful for those experiencing low self esteem and searching for a stronger sense of identity and ability to build healthier relationships. Its also helpful for those experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, and stress.
